SHE

........
Age 8, restricted from going out forlorn,
"You're too small", was the given reason;
Age 18, she was insisted to take a companion,
"You're a big girl", was now the justification;
Too small or too big,when was she to go out alone?
Until now, she was forewarn,
"This won't be your home henceforth";
In the wake of marraige, she was told ,
"This isn't the home of your brood";
That home or this home, where did  she actually belong?
Hitherto, she was filled in,
"Not too blonde and not too tan, was said to be divine";
Now she knew it's unwritten,
"Small waist and big breast is considered to be perfection";
Too fat or too slim, wasn't she still sublime?
Following her body went under violation,
"What you wore was mere provocation";
Was wearing a diaper fault of the little one,
when they say,"It's because what she had on";
Infant or grey, was there no bigotry?
 ........

Meanings:
Forlorn- alone               Blonde and tan- fair and dark                Forewarn- told.
Grey- old lady               Brood- born family.                                 Had on- wore
Hitherto- until now      Bigotry- prejudice

The life of a girl isn't easy. Her hardships began from the moment she's born. The poem depicts the life of women with no age discrimination. Wherein a number of events occurs in their life. Like how she was not able to go out as a child, what society says an ideal girl should look like, how she was disowned after marriage, and how the monsters raped her with no prejudice if she was a toddler or and old lady...
Here, "..." this means there's no start or end to it.

  2. I completely agree, females have to struggle at least 10 times more to achieve their dreams than males coz of the physical, psychological,social,economic and cultural obstacles this patriarchal society puts in front of them which i may never understand completely as a maleπŸ˜….But i know education and positive awareness about their issues r leading towards more smart, strong and independent females in the society than ever before. Future is bright and promising for gender equality 😌.

The Blue

In summers it's angry, as it appears red, hot and grumpy,  but it also turns pink before sun goes of to flirt and be blushy, embarrassed for what it did in the whole day;     When sad, it becomes dense and black,      even cry out rain, when it can't take anymore or tolerate; It's depressed, when it's hiding behind the dark clouds,  with no downpour or even a movement of wind;     When it's frustrated it bursts out as thunder and lightning,     but never forgets an apology with a clear sky next morning; Though it's shallow above there, but we know how much love, care and lives, it gives us, down here;     And how it protects it's beloved ones from externals,     though the same people hurt it in many different ways; Even the moon and stars leave it alone during frost,  which is it's most difficult times, but it stays strong and await the next morning's ray of hope;     It makes sure to hide it's pain, bruises and tears,     of the past night behi

Paper

  Life begins from a piece of  paper called birth record; different colour, quality and size arrive at home to spread knowledge; along with a pencil paper is the start of education; and tissue it is when you have a runny nose. It can be moulded and folded into anything; just like how in form of a marksheet it decides your career; a paper it is which contributes to the future; and a paper it is which preserves the past; you are selected or not is informed through it; the same piece of paper arrives in a post appointing you for a job; and when your friend died the same paper was found as a death note. You sign a paper again when you find  a spouse; a paper would be only signed if you need a divorce; a page would inform your increment and promotion; so is a paper printed for your daughter's wedding invitation; you sign a paper for your retirement; after making a will for your next generation; a death certificate is made- a final paper of your existence.
